Knee pain is an issue the plagues athletes all throughout their training and athletic careers. The hip can be a huge contributing factor in the prevention of knee pain. The hip and its control/stability often contribute a lot of force coupling and stress to the knee. The hip itself is much less likely to be injured.

As we teach athletes to get stronger, to have better flexibility, we also have to teach them how to move properly. We have use countless reps. We have to use countless perfect reps. We have to use multi step multi tasking drills. We have to integrate that into becoming automatic. We have to integrate the brain to use the movement as the default position.

It takes a lot of practice with precise progression and feedback. Once achieved, the athlete becomes more stable. More efficient. More athletic.

This is who we are, This is what we do…
