The above images are from the inside of a right knee.
The first set of 6 images is the BEFORE picture of the scar tissue and crepitus that has built up in a joint.
The second set of 5 images is of the same knee right after surgery. The scar tissue was removed, the damage tissue was cleaned out, and the range of motion for knee increased by 25 deg.
Sometimes we are Broken… and we need surgery to fix them. In the BEFORE picture we can see such degradation and scar tissue density, no amount of physical therapy would remove that tissue.
We do need surgery sometime to fix and issue, and the rehab to rebuild/prevent. Its important to know the difference between when we rehab, and then also when we need surgery first. Thats what we are here for….
